The repairs began this morning at 6.
The Virginia Department of Transportation recommended that northbound motorists detour around the bridge via Chippenham Parkway north over the Willey Bridge, then right on River Road to Huguenot Road. Southbound drivers should take River Road west to Chippenham Parkway south over the Willey Bridge to Huguenot Road.
