An 18-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery around 9:40 tonight at the Midlothian Village Apartments in the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike.

Richmond police Capt. Linda Samuel said that as the victim ran from the would-be robber, the suspect shot at the victim, causing a minor wound on his shoulder.

No arrest has been made.
