A house under construction in Chesterfield County was significantly damaged in an overnight fire.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which was discovered by a neighbor in the 5700 block of South Jessup Road shortly after 3:30 a.m.

Firefighters arrived eight minutes after the initial call and found the house fully involved.

The cause was under investigation.
