CHARLOTTESVILLE -- About 1,000 free tickets are being made available for the annual Independence Day naturalization ceremony at Monticello, which will include an appearance by President Bush.
The Thomas Jefferson Foundation says tickets for the event will be distributed beginning at 7 a.m. tomorrow on a first-come, first-served basis at the Monticello Visitor Center building.
Only those 18 and older will be given tickets and tickets are limited to four per person. However, the foundation says there is no age limit for attending the actual ceremony.
The naturalization ceremony will mint 75 new citizens from 30 different countries.
The Jefferson Foundation is the private nonprofit that has operated Monticello since 1923.
