A green-white-checkered restart is likely to lead to drama, and the odds greatly increase when you do it on a restrictor-plate track like Daytona International Speedway. Saturday's Coke Zero 400 was no different. Before the final caution came out, ending the race less than one-quarter of the way through the last lap, there were several near-wrecks that could have stopped it sooner.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Tony Stewart was feeling under the weather yesterday and took some intravenous fluid at the infield care center before taking the green flag in the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. J.J. Yeley, who had failed to qualify for the race in the No. 96 Toyota, took over for Stewart on Lap 73. Stewart was ninth in the Sprint Cup points entering the race.

Jaime Camara made some personal history last night at Richmond International Raceway, but he didn't get what he wanted. Camara led the first laps of his IndyCar Series career in the SunTrust Indy Challenge, but he spun out on Lap 217 and ended his day. "I was getting looser every lap, [and] with the tire wear, it's really hard here in traffic," Camara said. "I was getting lighter in fuel, which was making the car more nervous in the rear. We were still quick, and I just lost it on Turn 4. I tried everything with my toes inside the car to maintain a rhythm, but I couldn't save that one."

With Chip Ganassi Racing dominating so far this season, there have been uneasy times at Andretti Green Racing. But those who were out there could tell tomorrow night's SunTrust Indy Challenge should be a fun one. Oriol Servia (167.295 mph) bested Will Power (165.185) for top lap among the 12 drivers who took to the track. "I can see that the race must be very tough in traffic because on your own, already, everything is narrow and you already have issues hitting your marks on your own," Servia said.
