FALLS CHURCH -- Mills Godwin's Katie Blow knocked off unbeaten Alex Ritter 6-4, 6-1 to advance to her second straight singles final in the Group AAA championships at Jefferson District Park.

Blow, who lost in the final last year, also teamed with Nicole Parker to advance to the doubles championship with a 6-2, 6-0 wipeout of Fairfax's Lauren Palmucci and Katie Montill.

Eagles players went three for three when Kyle Parker and Kevin Calhoun overcame a bad start to defeat Sidarth Balaji and Jason Luu of Fairfax 7-5, 6-3 in the boys doubles semifinals.

Parker and Calhoun trailed five two before reeling off seven straight games to grab control of the match. They will oppose Drew Courtney and Stephen Hardy of Robinson in the doubles final in a rematch of last week's battle in the team final. Parker and Calhoun won, but Mills Godwin fell 5-4 to Robinson. In last year's doubles championship, Courtney and Hardy defeated the Eagles duo.

The girls singles final starts at 9 a.m. and both doubles finals are at 1 p.m.
