FIRST TEAM
Harry Lee Daniel, Highland Springs 6-2, Sr., 18.6 Avg. 8 rebounds, 4 steals
A reserve on last year's state championship team, Daniel spearheaded the Springers to No. 1 in the T-D and AP rankings with whatever he needed to do: score, rebound, pass, play defense. Scored 502 points, the fifth Springer in six years to surpass 500 in a season.

Ed Davis, Benedictine, 6-9, Sr., 21.1 Avg. 14 rebounds, 6.4 blocks, 2.5 assists.
Scored 741 points this season and raised his average by 3 points per game. Finished his four years (two at Hanover) with 2,301 points. Averaged a double-double (points and rebounds) the past three years. Is a three-time All-Metro first-team choice and two-time player of the year.

Travis Keels, L.C. Bird, 6-6, Sr., 13.7 Avg. 9 rebounds.
The inside player in Bird's inside-outside combo, he was the Skyhawks' second-leading scorer and top rebounder. The second Skyhawks player (Tyrese Rice is the other) to be first team since Chris Moss in 1998.

Travis McKie, John Marshall, 6-6, So., 18.8 Avg. 9.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists.
The first JM player to make the first team since current assistant coach LaMar Taylor and Kytwan Heath in 1997. Scored more than 500 points and led the Justices to the Colonial District and Central Region titles and a berth in the state semifinals.

Cadarian Raines, Petersburg, 6-8, Jr., 14.4 Avg. 10 rebounds, 4.0 blocks.
Petersburg's first first-team All-Metro since Marcus Johnson in 1999. Played his way onto college recruiters' lists while averaging a double-double. Helped the balanced Wave win the Central District regular-season and tournament titles and reach the state semifinals.
